Since too many people are lazy to press F9 or go to TDA rules these set of rules should be universal.

( 1 ) These rules are only in effect when you participate in a [WTS] game announced through the [NixonBot/EliteHBot]

For this reason, do not submit bans for WTS if they are not WTS games, and be wary of joining games not announced by the bot.

(2 ) Leaving a game or the use of hacks will result in a ban.

Unless you leave under the remake, forfeit, or game evening rules, you WILL be blacklisted for leaving a game. If you use 3rd party hacks, you WILL be blacklisted. I will not give a list of banned programs for obvious reasons, so use good judgment.

However, programs like pickup.listchecker, WC3Banlist, and hotkey modification programs are 100% allowed and sometimes encouraged.

Be warned that disconnects, legitimate or otherwise, may result in a ban. While we treat intentional disconnects more harshly, a player with unstable internet has a very detrimental effect on the quality of [WTS] games, and will be removed until the problem is fixed.

Finally, leaving immediately before the tree or throne falls may result in a ban. If you're about to lose, show a little sportsmanship and stay the extra 30 seconds.

( 3 ) If either team has less than 4 people remaining, you may leave without a ban. If the opponents are down one player, and you want to leave to make it even, all allies must agree to it in ALL chat.

As it states, if the game is anything less than 4v4 (3v4, 3v5, 3v3, etc) you are free to leave. If you leave under any circumstances not covered by the other leaving rules, you will be blacklisted.

In using rules ( 3 ) - ( 5 ), note that players that have been afk for a while or that no longer have a hero (in -dm) do not count. For example, a team of 4 players with one hero who has been afk a long time can declare that he's been afk and just leave.

If the game is 5v4 and you want to leave, all your allies must say you can leave in All Chat. If you leave without this happening, you will be blacklisted.

The under 4 people rule does not apply if one team decides to "chain" leave. That is, if three players decide to leave together, all three players will be banned, even though the last one left when the game was a 5v3.

n a 4v5, the team of 4 can forfeit after 30 minutes.

In a 5v5 game, a team may forfeit and leave the match if all five players say "ff" in All Chat.

In a 4v5 game, the team with four players may forfeit at 30 minutes.

In a 4v4 game, a team can only forfeit at 50 minutes.

If the requisite number of forfeits are not performed and you leave, you will be blacklisted. A "gg" is NOT a "ff" and is NOT an excuse for you to leave. To avoid confusion, all players should first agree in allied chat to forfeit, then say "ff" in ALL Chat at once.

( 5 ) Remake is allowed if 6 or more players agree (at least 2 from each team). Remake is also allowed if someone leaves in the first 15 minutes and 3 or more people agree to remake within the next 2 minutes.

A remake may be called if 6 players, at least 2 from each team, ask for a remake. It may also occur if a player leaves or drops within the first 15 minutes and a total of three people from either team ask for a RM.

You must ask for a remake within 2 minutes of the person leaving--this means that if someone leaves 10 minutes in, you can't have three people ask for a remake 30 minutes later.

If you vote for RM properly and then play on, you may NOT remake later. When is later? Use your own good judgment. If you don't, the RA's will judge for you!

And closely related to this - if you decline to remake at 6 minutes in, you cannot decide to RM at 30 minutes in and expect the old votes to count. If more than a few minutes have passed, get new remake or forfeit votes.

Note that saying RM and then leaving without anyone else agreeing is NOT acceptable and WILL get you blacklisted.

The actual remake game is optional. The host, or any other player, is not required to host a remake and the original players are not obligated to join it.

( 6 ) Going AFK frequently or for long periods may result in a ban.

This rule is completely up to RA discretion. AFK'ing in the following situations will most likely get you banned:

1. During vital portions of the game, such as early laning or during late game pushes.
2. For small doses, 1-2 minutes per AFK, multiple times throughout the game, especially if you end up behind in levels.
3. Because you think the game is over and you've won/lost.
4. Because you think a teammate is worthless.
5. Because you were falling asleep, taking a long dump, or watching a TV show.
6. Others.

Note that if you must AFK, the best way to do so is to share control and tell everyone in ALL Chat that you need to AFK and why.

The only surefire way to avoid being banned for AFK is to not AFK.

( 7 ) Intentional game ruining things like item stealing from allies and creep blocking are bannable.

Creep blocking should be quite clear; if you do find a way to block creeps, be sure to submit a report at getdota.com so Ice can fix it. Creep blocking is referring to something you could do in previous versions, such as when you could use Necrolics' Gargoyles to completely block a lane, keeping creeps from moving at all. They would eventually build up, and you could set them loose all at once for a massive push with hundreds of creeps. This rule does not apply to walking in front of creeps to slow them down or using Furion's Sprout spell to trap them.

Game ruining bugs should be handled similarly; contact IceFrog to fix them.
There is far too large a list of game-ruining things to do, but use your common sense.

Some examples of game-ruining:

1. Casting Decrepify on allies maliciously or for no reason. While you can use Decrepify to save an ally, use good judgment.
2. Casting Test of Faith or Nightmare on allies maliciously or for no reason.
3. Destroying allies' items or stealing their items.
4. Massing worthless items like buying 50 Tangos and eating your way to the enemy base.
5. Going Dagon+Dagoncrow+Dagonbear or other worthless builds, like Refresher on N'aix or massing Boots.
6. Intentionally feeding.
7. Giving up and screwing around.
8. Intentional teamkilling by attacking players afflicted with Shadow Strike or Doom on them clearly not for the purpose of denying the other team a kill.
9. Prolonging the game by camping enemy fountain or refraining from destroying key enemy buildings. Especially applies to organized teams of friends. (this will be enforced at our discretion, so don't even think of screwing around)
10. Abusing the observer position to communicate players' activities to other teams. It will be treated similarly to maphacking.
11. Permanently blocking the flow of creeps, leading to a huge mass of creeps building up.
12. Others.

What ISN'T bannable game ruining:

1. Unintentionally feeding or poor playing.
2. Kill-stealing.
3. Neutralling all game or farming all game. However, under extreme circumstances where the player refuses to help the team, the player may be blacklisted for game ruining.
4. Stacking/pooling a hero.
5. Backdooring (except as defined in the rule below)
6. Creep blocking that does not result in a huge mass of creeps building up. For example, using fissure or sprout on the first wave is not bannable.
7. Having an observer in the game or being an observer.
8. Others. Using Leaver

( 8 ) You may not teleport into an enemy base without your creeps there, any other backdooring IS allowed.

This applies to any hero, unit, or hero/unit combo that can teleport via an innate skill. If you teleport into the enemy base in such a manner as for it to be undetectable/unstoppable and for the whole operation to be almost instant, it can be bannable. Teleporting anywhere inside the base while your creeps are not present to backdoor is illegal--this includes the tavern area and the trees. The border of the base is defined by raised land. You can, however, teleport outside a base (on the lowered land) and then walk in to attack.

If your creeps are present, you may teleport in all cases.

Some examples follow:

* Bannable: Furion's TP is for all intents and purposes undetectable, unless you happen to be viewing the exact spot he is TPing to. It is also unstoppable. He can also TP into the forest and summon his way out. Furthermore, it is almost instant.
* Not Bannable: Walking a summon, invisible or not, into the enemy base is only possible if the enemy tower is down, so it is only sometimes detectable. However, it is not instant, as you have to cast the summon at some other place, then walk it into the enemy base before teleporting in on it. This is easily counterable with wards. In addition, once you TP onto an invisible summon, it becomes visible.
* Bannable: Doing the above, but hiding the summon in the forest and then teleporting on it.
* Not Bannable: Windwalking heroes are detectable with wards or gem, making them not instant, as you have to walk some distance usually to pull it off. Similarly, blink heroes need to walk to within a short distance of the enemy base before blinking in, so both are detectable and stoppable.

( 9 ) Racism or extreme trash talking may result in a report for review by a neutral moderator.

This rule is completely up to a moderator to decide. Again, to be on the safe side, you should avoid too much trashtalking. Clearly, trashtalking is a part of competitive play. No one enjoys a serial asshole though, so be friendly and enjoy a clean game of DotA.

Yeah, we will edit these a bit. That rule is gone for sure.

Although, I'd say we shouldn't be doing that in clan wars, its bad form and we don't want to look like the asshole clan. Just end the game fazt.
